Yard Sales



Would anyone like to help coordinate a neighborhood yard sale in November?  Fall and Spring is a great time for yard sales - weather is perfect (hopefully no rain that day!).

To coordinate a neighborhood yard sale we will need:

1.  Purchase signs
2.  Person in charge of signs
3.  People to place signs
4.  Person to list info on Craigslist, local newspapers (free), and other places to advertise

If you have access to making or purchasing signs that are inexpensive please let me know.   If 5 families could committ to purchase 2 signs each - we are ready to have a Maplewood Yard Sale!

Please let me know good or bad dates - and we can narrow down to a weekend that will work.  Also - do we want a Friday and Saturday sale - or Saturday only?

    Thank you for working so hard to increase the noticability of our neighborhood. Unfortunately I lost most of my garage sale items in last year's flood, but let me k now and I will check out what I can gather. I personally would do a Saturday only if I got to participate, but feel like others may like more days.

    Boy howdy don't we remember that flood! I have ordered a sign with the blog address - hope it gets here soon and will post it at the front of the neighborhood. Hopefully we will get more responses and see if we can coordinate one....

    I say we have one. I am all for it but we should at least be 20 families otherwise I wuldnt call it a subdivision yard sale. Ok people lets clan out that garage and lets enjoy a good day

    Cool!!! We would love to participate in the Maplewood yardsale!! I have loads of stuff and have been talking about a yardsale for a while. We can also purchase two signs. We could do 2 days.

    I'm going to have a yardsale on the 19th and 20th of this month. So feel free to join in as the traffic will be here. I'm tryingto join the google thing so I won't be anonymous! It isn't working!!
